Snoredog, I laughed so hard I had tears streaming down my face. Thank you. I needed that.
Um, Snoredog's post supposed to be funny? How did you know to interpret it that way? I certainly don't see anything to indicate humor....

One thing that may be "humorous", is that Jambo101, after complaining about not having "sections" on THIS forum, then went over to the ASAA forum and posted an equipment question in the wrong "section".

But, I think that the bulk of Snoredog's "dialogue" was aimed at MusicMan/BallBuster. And, personally, after watching that little "tantrum" for the last two days......I'd had about all I could handle without blowing my stack, too. MM/BB took jnk/Jeff's post completely out of context and then made a complete fool of himself.......and THAT was uncalled for.

Snoredog wrote:yep it works great, I added ozij to mine and now well I no longer have to deal with her PIA targeted BS, now if she would only add me to her foe list we can completely avoid each other which would be fantastic in my eyes.

Thanks to your posting of instructions, she should be able to figure out how to do that on her own, well it is hoped she can anyway.

I have far more respect for my own comments Snoredog. I never lie, mislead, manipulate, or think people's memory is too short to remember what I said in previous posts.

I guess you respect your own comments somewhat less than I do, Snoredog.
Although perhaps you had some trouble following the instruction? It may work if you take a deep breath and try it again patiently.

Edit - remover Jules' name as poster of the instructions... my mistake.

Hokey smokes! If these posts are representative of the warm, tender feelings of Thanksgiving, I can't hardly wait to see what the Christmas season will bring.

You are a kind man, Den.

Just so you know, I have been overwhelmed by all the support I've received in this forum during these last few days, both in public posts and in private messages. It's funny how my being the object of such a flame-campaign, from whomever that was, would turn out to result, in sum, in a truly positive experience for me--the exact opposite of the flamer's apparent intentions. I gotta say: There are a LOT of truly kind and caring people who come to this board who more than make up for the few who can occasionally be less than kind. I'm glad.

Thanks, everyone!

OK. I won't. I was just wondering what would happen, since it sometimes seems for a few of us that we can be our own worst foe, doesn't it?!

Not to pick on you Den, but (slapping forehead)---OMG!!, I just didn't see how different it was for MusicMan/Ballbuster to be telling everyone to shove things up their ass than for the esteemed Snoredog to tell people to shove things up their ass. Of course it was uncalled for when MM/BB did that....
Geesh. Give me a break!!
I was the one who posted the thread "How to make a toxic poster disappear," so let there be no mistake about my attitude toward the garbage spewed across this forum by MM ostensibly toward Jeff. I just cannot believe that SnoreDog's crap can be justified as somehow on a higher level.

I think you're right about where Snoredog was directing the bulk of his vomit, and you're right about musicman/BallBuster's ridiculously irrational tantrum.

However, what Snoredog displayed in all his foulmouthed "glory" was inexcusable behavior. He wasn't talking just about MM/BB. He was using his well honed bully tactics to try to intimidate any newcomer who might offer a suggestion about the board. There are better, more welcoming ways to respond to those suggestions. Example, jnk's posts responding to musicman were excellent. musicman misunderstood and acted childishly, but that's musicman's problem. No fault of jnk's at all.

Anyway, I sure don't share Snoredog's opinion.

My opinion:

1. Newcomers are very welcome here.

2. Newcomers are most welcome to post their opinions, suggestions, ideas at ANY time, including when they first arrive here.

3. Newcomers should be aware that Snoredog is, unfortunately, a regular poster on this board. I've seen him in action here, and in the past as "dizzy" on the TalkAboutSleep board, for so many years that I'm used to what he spews. Always sorry to see it though, as I'm sure his ugly, bullying behavior intimidates and drives away a great many people who are visiting cpaptalk.com for the first time.

A word to new people reading this thread. I hope you won't be intimidated by the few "Snoredog"s you come across here. Please know that if you'll ignore Snoredog you'll find many people on this board who can give you much sounder information and better support than he dishes out.

The majority of people here really are interested in learning and sharing ways to make cpap treatment better/easier.

It's a great place to learn about cpap treatment. And about human nature.
