The link you provided below as https://sleep.tnet.com/home/files/resme ... -guide.pdf is not working. Please, fix it to allow me review the key differences for these two machines. I am too going to replace my S9 Unit with Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset but prefers a heated humidifier with Climate Control. The reason being that, the heated humidity tends to unclog my nose thereby facilitating easy breathing at night and day even when I get cold.

S9 AutoSets are still out there if you are buying yourself.
If you are using a DME they most likely won't have any S9 models sitting on the shelf after this length of time since the release of the AirSense models.

Same as your S9 in that regard....except it doesn't over write the data every week so you don't have to do downloads weekly to avoid losing detailed data. It won't start over writing old files until a year has passed or the card is starting to get full. Also if you have Windows 8.xx or higher you don't have to lock the SD card when you put it in the computer any more...

There are minor changes in some features in terms of humidity settings and heated hose. Here's the manual..

I can't fix it. It's not my website.
My post was written in 2017...the website link got broken (spring 2018) because the owner of the website tnet.com didn't renew his security certificate. He has yet to fix the issue and we have been unable to contact him at all to find out why.
There's nothing dangerous at the website but some browsers won't let you add an exception. You can add an exception if your browser will let you.

Anything in specific you are concerned about?

I am going to replace my S9 Unit with Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset this or next month paid for my employer's insurance but prefers a heated humidifier with Climate Control. My concern is whether this newer unit is capable of generating heated humidity or steam and whether there is a corresponding heated tubing to fit it. Like I said before, the heated humidity tends to unclog my nose thereby facilitating easy breathing at night and day even when I get cold.

No machine produces steam. They can't get that hot.

But the AirSense 10 models are pretty much exactly the same as the S9 models in regards to how they produce the humidity and control it with or without the heated hose. That aspect of things doesn't change.
What did change is that the humidifier is now built in to the blower unit so no separate machine now for adding humidity.

I have used both a S9 and now the AirSense 10....humidity dispensed didn't change. You won't notice any difference except the default setting for the S9 under auto is for 80% and the AirSense 10 is 85%. Plus the AirSense 10 offers a little bit more fine tuning of the humidity settings when using the heated hose.
You won't lose anything.

Pugsy, thank you for feedbacks. That makes sense really. And the volume of water filled in the water chamber is the same for both units. Correct?

There are no significant differences between the so autoset and the air10 autoset, except for the physical form factor. Now,the for he model offers another mode that *may* be benefit, so I recommend that one.

Water chamber capacity for S9 and AirSense 10 is 380 ml for both.
You can go to the spec page of either product to confirm.
https://www.cpap.com/cpap-humidifiers/c ... r-chambers

Now I have noticed that I seem to use a little more water with the AirSense but I think that is because I am using a slightly higher humidity percentage delivered choice. I like lots of moisture.
Logic tells me that if I choose a higher setting and all other things don't change then I will use more water.

Oho, I got it wrong. Thank you Pugsy. No machine generates Humidity. I was referring to moisture. In fact, It looks like lots of moisture is my preference.

I was referring to moisture that is generated from the heated water chamber. I apologize for the confusion.

In our area you can get a variety of machines on Craig's List although you have to dicker because folks tend to think their equipment is worth more than it actually is. You can't sell machines on Ebay but can on CL
