Here a good laugh for you

Post by IBTeri » Sun Nov 05, 2006 2:39 am

Thought I would be brave and post my pictures in my cpap setup.
My husband thinks I'm sexy. ya ya really he's just happy I 'm not waking him up all night long with my snoring.
I don't mind how I look I know it helps me.
First one is me with out mask. lump next to me is my youngest son joseph he's 7.

Next are pictures one with hose up and the other just hanging.
OH the white cap I got on is a silk sleep cap it stops me from having bed head in the next day. and it really works too!

Great shots! I'm sure that your husband does find you sexy.... you actually look quite cute!

Have to giggle here. I also have a 7yr old lump! Nice to know we both have great looking, wonderful lumps!

Thanks for sharing that, Hugs!

Teri-
I love your spirit. Not everyone would be willing to post their picture in their gear. I was glad to see what that particular FF mask looks like on. Somehow I just imagined by the term full face that they covered much more of the face. Thanks for posting.
Kathy

Teri, great pictures! The sleeping cap is a neat idea.

What a lovely picture of you and your son together.

Having spent over 30 years teaching those "lumps" of various ages, it is my opinion that your "lump" is a fortunate one!

Anyone who would let their "lump" tape up an important picture such as that one is a truly flexible and understanding mom, IMHO.

And, by using your CPAP, you are taking good care of yourself and then can take better care of your so-called (and very cute, if I do say so) "lump," plus the rest of the family!

Please note: I do NOT mean that if Mama's not happy then nobody is happy. I mean truly taking care of yourself so that you are ready, willing and able to help those about whom you care.

Cute pictures Teri. You are couragous.

Why the shower cap? And your hose looks so long.

I can do this, I will do this.

My disclaimer: I'm not a doctor, nor have I ever worked in the health care field Just my personal opinions.

There you go, selfseeker! Since I have never ONCE had a good hair day upon awakening with CPAP, this may be worth a try! Nothing like looking really frightening to the animals, eh? But, as most of us have found out, it is whatever works that counts.

Thanks for the info on the "bed head" solution! I plan to try it!

I also decided to be brave and show myself with my mask on. Gotta come on out and face the hoseheadedness. Cute kid and I'm glad you are taking care of yourself so you can be around to watch him grow up! keep it up.
