tape P10 hose on chin

Post by bod » Mon Feb 12, 2018 1:42 pm

Hi all,

The P10 fits into my nose rather well but during the night I have leaks sometimes as the hose pulls on the mask and it wakes me up. It seems that I became sensitive to the noise of leaks.

As anyone tried to tape the small hose on the chin ?

Thanks for sharing

I have this plus moving around on the pillow seems to move the minimal straps, also causing leaks. I have thought about taping the straps to my cheeks but have not been brave enough yet. So instead I am using a full face mask, works but not nearly as comfortable.

I use a hose holder with my P10. As I flip and flop from side to side (I'm a side sleeper), it keeps the hose from dragging on the mask. I've learned to punch down my pillow in such a way it doesn't interfere while still supporting my head.

No tape for me; I've a full beard.

I use the PAPCAP for my chinstrap and attach the P10 hose to the loop on top. That eliminates the effects of any hose pulling. I also attach the P10 straps to some exposed Velcro on the PAPCAP to get that “sweet spot” fit. The P10 headgear can stretch as much as it wants and not affect the fit. Earl

My hose hangs on a makeshift mini crane, that rotates as I turn over.
No weight to drag on my mask.

I use a Ruby chin strap on top of my P10. It keeps the P10 firmly in place even if I move around.
