I wonder if a thin layer of Barrier Cream would help. I realize the ideal would be to get the mask to fit as best as possible, and that should be your aim. But, if another important desired result is to prevent unwanted side-effects that take you to a point of diminishing returns, your best physical fitting might be improved somewhat, and worth doing, by putting a thin layer of Barrier Cream around the mask or where it fits.

Not a good idea unfortunately, it will cause the mask to slide all over as does any face cream, so we recommend not using anything (except in the daytime).

Agreed. My biggest issue is a headache that feels like pressure on the top of my head. I’m going to try to cushion the top if the headgear where the hose is attached to see if that helps.

I get headaches too but don't think it's mask which is same as yours. for me if it's too tight I can feel the pressure on my nose. I loosen it just enough so it's not an issue. Sometimes I get some leaks while sleeping on side but if I adjust mask slightly that goes away.
