Dreamwear new pillow whistle?
Dreamwear new pillow whistle?
I starting using a new Dreamwear mask and pillow last night after using my previous one for about a year (changed pillows during that time). Last night I couldn't seem to adjust it without getting a whistle sound.
It seems like the sound is coming from the small exhale port in the front of the pillow. Has anyone else had this problem? Suggestions?
TIA!

Re: Dreamwear new pillow whistle?
The only times I've had that problem were when something (usually the sheet) got too close to the vent.

Re: Dreamwear new pillow whistle?
A year later and I, too, am having the same problem. Did you ever find a solution?
Re: Dreamwear new pillow whistle?
I've only had this problem with the nasal mask. It was the vent at the front of the nose piece and a quick adjustment by pushing on the vent solved the problem.

You just pushed in it? Nothing else? Thanks!
Re: Dreamwear new pillow whistle?
I sort of played with the gap and both pushed it in and widened it as well. It worked but I'm not sure how. I did this based on the premise that the whistling was being caused by too narrow a gapProfelisa wrote:You just pushed in it? Nothing else? Thanks!
Re: Dreamwear new pillow whistle?
My Dreamwear nasal pillow mask was making that whistling sound. It does go away when I put my finger over the exhalation vent in the front of the mask, and I agree it has to do with moisture buildup in the vent. I can't find a preventative solution, but I've started keeping a Q-tip on the bedside table. When whistling wakes me up, I use the Q-tip to dry out the slit and then it's good for another while. Also, I keep the machine heat turned to 3 and the hose temp at 4, this seems to keep the condensation down a bit.
