Excellent advice from Pugsy and from Lucyhere.
The mask is a very subjective and personal element! There is no mask that is good for everyone.
For me the Airfit F20 is legendary!
The straps at the top, those to adjust the area of the nose, you can keep them very light. The pneumatic seal is very good and the nose is safe.
For me it's the best mask and I have already tried 8 different types.
My nose skin is delicate and I prepare it every night with a good gel based on hyaluronic acid. Since I use it, things are much better.
Not sure it's useful to you too. Get informed in the pharmacy.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like a Dream Station X200 only has compliance data. So how is the DME able to tell you what your AHI was???

Or does it give limited data for a 90 day period???

Compliance only machines are what we call "bricks". Take a look at my blog, "Help, I'm stuck with a brick!" But since they seemed determined to give you the cheapest possible mask and cheapest possible machine, it's going to be an uphill battle.

Per the DreamStation manual the DSX200xxx has AHI (but no event category breakdown)...some sort of leak number and hours of use.
So while not a total brick it qualifies for what I call a half assed brick with such limited data.
No graphs of anything...just the summary AHI, leak and hours of use. I am not even sure if SH will show that summary data...might need Encore but why bother because what is seen on the LCD screen is what Encore (or SH if it works) will show.

Hello, i don't know if you read my previous reply however i do feel that based upon my own experience you would benefit from an Auto Cpap machine. I noticed from some of your pictures that you are in the USA and as such can only assume that you have to pay for your own machine? If so it would be money worth spending as you'd notice an immediate difference in the way that the machine isn't quite as 'aggressive' when you initially start using it. For me it was a night and day change with only the mask now giving me various issues.

If you're a 'nose breather' then there are masks available for this, the same if you're a mouth breath like myself.

It's not a short process. I have another live thread in which i was considering surgery. A night can be good with CPAP but it can also be hell...

What was your diagnosed AHI? Mine was 38 which in the UK is considered extremely severe. Now with the mask it can be between 2.5 or 5.

Just remember that you're better off having 2-3 solid hours sleep in a night than broken sleep and an increased risk of stroke/heart attacks.

After finding this site I discovered my start pressure was too low. Also switched to APAP. I then realized I could not tolerate plastic on my face and switched to a Circadian clothe mask. Don't give up just make adjustments. I got wonderful advice from the people on this site. I cant sleep without my sweet machine now.
