If not Sleepyhead, what for Mac users?
If not Sleepyhead, what for Mac users?
My machine -- Resmed Airsense 10, Autoset for Her -- is apparently not supported by Sleepyhead software on Mac. Is there something else I can get to run my stats?
Thank you!
Thank you!

Ok, that's weird and annoying: under my user name it says I also posted as RogerSC! I have never posted here before today nor under another name.
Guessing that means that Roger also used the username chanap?? Since I don't want credit or blame for his previous posts, do I now come back as someone else, ie a different user name? Or just ignore?

Sleepyhead runs just fine on Macs - designed on one actually - and I have it downloaded (iMac).

I quit using Windows when my Emachine screen went on the fritz.
I retired my Ipad. Apple made me insane.
Now I only have Android. Is there a Windows emulator for Android (Lollipop?)

That just means you likely have the same ISP using the same or similar IP address as Roger, like me and Jay. Register and sign in. It won't be a problem.chanap wrote:Ok, that's weird and annoying: under my user name it says I also posted as RogerSC! I have never posted here before today nor under another name.
SleepyHead runs on Mac

I also have the Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset, and use Sleepyhead on my Mac with no problem. Where are you getting stuck?

Re: If not Sleepyhead, what for Mac users?
Ok, thanks for letting me know it worked on your mac with that machine!
(I downloaded the software and it had a list of which machines are supported that apparently was incomplete.)
The place I'm now stuck is how to lock the card so the data doesn't get overwritten. I'll take a look at the sleepyhead info page here.

Re: If not Sleepyhead, what for Mac users?
When you pull the SD card out of the machine and hold it so that the writing on the label is right side up, the locking tab is on the left side toward the top. There is a little picture next to it with an open lock at the top to indicate unlocked and a closed lock at the bottom to indicate locked.
So, slide the little tab down to lock it, put it in to your computer and safely read the data. When you remove it out of your computer, slide the tab back up to the top position to unlock it before putting it back in the cpap machine. If you forget to unlock it, you will see a warning on the screen of the cpap machine when you put it in.

Yeah, if I were me, I wouldn't want credit for my posts, either. Just ignore the extra "also posted as" stuff, most times it's not accurate. I always post as RogerSC, and know that's who I am *smile*.chanap wrote:Ok, that's weird and annoying: under my user name it says I also posted as RogerSC! Re: If not Sleepyhead, what for Mac users?
You don't need to worry about the data being overwritten. On my Mac there's only one difference: if I write-protect (lock) the SD card before inserting it in the computer, Sleepyhead can load the data in just a few seconds. If I forget to write-protect it, Sleepyhead can take 30-45 seconds for the download. The place I'm now stuck is how to lock the card so the data doesn't get overwritten. I'll take a look at the sleepyhead info page here.
The hardest part for me to remember is to take the card out of the computer and put it back into the CPAP. The CPAP doesn't warn you if you've forgotten to put in the SD card. But if you put the card into the CPAP write-protected, the CPAP will complain.
