If you read through to the end there was this ... "Data from the first two CPAP mask prototypes showed they were significantly quieter than what’s on the market right now. ".

And I would imagine there would be more miniaturization along the way.

meaningless words.

and since "what's on the market right now" is very hard to hear unless you're in a silent room....

given all the other inaccuracies about "what's on the market right now" in the article, you'd have to wonder what they *think* is on the market 'right now'... maybe they're comparing to Den's bread boxes..

It could make travel much more convenient! I agree that I would not want to use this device at home!

Why torture yourself? My Airsense came in a BAG--does not even count as a carry-on.

I don have issues holding an extra bag on that ridiculously long TSA line. Nevertheless, such a device in not for me, due to the severity of my Sleep Apnea (over 50 times per hour baseline, but usually under 1 with CPAP).
