Usually only one cup first thing in the morning, sometimes up to three cups but that's only if I order an Iced Coffee that is 30oz and I don't drink coffee after Noon, ever. I am at work by 9am so I'm usually done drinking coffee by 10am. Sometimes I don't drink any. I pretty much stick to water after that.
I've been thinking about what Den was saying. While I was wearing the mask watching TV, I noticed that when the pressure jumped to 10 I couldn't exhale until the C-Flex kicked in and that still took three breaths or so. I'm sure that was jolting me awake. I just wonder if running a constant pressure of 8 is too low if the machine is jumping to 10. I thought the machine automatically adjusted the pressure higher because that is the pressure I need and running a constant pressure of 8 may not be enough. Maybe 9 is the happy medium.
Yeah, your breathing when awake is not like it is when asleep, so it was more likely to jump up while you were watching TV.
Like I said, it's your therapy. But, if you TRY 8 for a few nights and there are still residual events, move it up .5 or 1 cm. at a time. In reality, your machine in Auto mode is going up more than that, but that's what's creating problems for you.
And, again, I really didn't see too many events above your minimum setting. It's once it gets higher is when the events start to appear.
