Could overbite make apnea worse?

I tried the boil and bite Snore stoper less than $3 on ebay .... it helped but not adjustable once it is set. At the recommendation of my sleep DR. referred to a sleep dentist/therapist and got an oral appliance the one in this picture:

Last night was first night of use , used with the cpap set at 4 cm. and had AHI of 0.39 I will continue to post my progress with it.

I am 75 year old male with an over bite .. not over weight ... snored all my life (Wife would kick me to get me breathing again) I sleep mostly on my back and the sleep test had a index of 39 on my back.
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!
