Blown Away

Post by ksneil » Fri Jul 25, 2014 1:41 pm

I went to use my Resmed after 3 days off and it is scaling to level 12 and blowing me away. Can anyone tell me how to adjust it. It has never done this before.

If it's Escape, Elite, Autoset or Escape Auto, you can look at the video tutorial I've linked to in my signature box. If you have an S9 VPAP you may still get an idea from the video tutorial, but we can also help you find the clinician manual for it.

The model name is right by the Start/Stop button.

What does it say right over the Start/Stop button on your machine, like where it says "Autoset" in this example?

find the label with the serial number, look for a REF or MODEL number. (REF unless it's quite old)

tell us what it is.

OP just needs to look at the Start/Stop button on his S9.

thank you, you do it your way, I'll do it mine they already didn't get the model with your original instructions, I thought I'd try an alternate route.

they just *might* have one of the 11 other models, though I'll admit, it's unlikely.

also, there's at least two now that have the same name, yet are different, though they are advanced models.

Thanks to all for your help. Pale Rider are you telling me that newer models provide the user with the capability to adjust the air pressure? My machine is a few years old and just started blowing at a 12. Ant idea what might have caused this? Adding to the confusion re my script and replacement/repair is my supplier Peachtree Pharmacy is recently out of business, my insurance has changed, Unsure what's next.

All machines can be adjusted, autos can adjust themselves even more.
If there is a modem on it, that can do it too.
All directions are different, hence the need to know what machine you have.
With luck, maybe we can figure out what happened.
And what to do next.
