I'm very worried, think Dori would have checked in if she had anything positive.

I think Dori has a lot to deal with, Mike, their family, the whole medical thing, which facility, whether 'home' or not, and her own health... and may just not have us on her mind right now. But I hope she checks in soon too!

Hello Friends! Sorry I haven't been in contact for so long, every day is so hectic. I finally have help in place (I hope) I'm supposed to be getting help from Medicare Hospice, VA and some local certified aides looking for extra work. If all works out I should be pretty well covered. Mike has improved somewhat, he's one tough guy and won't go down without a fight. He's using a walker for short distances, eating better with less choking, coughing, etc. and 02 has been discontinued with good levels. He's not using his bipap and doesn't seem to be having events while I'm there and he's sleeping peacefully, the same is reported by the night nurses. I don't know the full details but Dr says there's some positive connection between dementia, dysphagia and OSA. If the good results continue at home I'll post a For Sale thread for all the well kept equipment I've gathered. ,Hope everyone is doing well, I hope to check in more often once things settle down and Mike stays status quo. Keep the prayers going for us! Blessings to all.
.
