The Windows nighty build worked rather fine till last week. At once all the texts around the graphs have gone. It must be something that changed in the registry or at least not in the sleepyhead program folders. Any idea how to get it working again?

Hmmm.. There's a graphics glitch in the latest Windows driver for Intel graphics chips (and others, including VirtualBox VM's) that makes the opengl rendered fonts disappear.. (Microsoft might have snuck a driver update in on you with your other updates.)

I think I've fixed this in the most recent code, because I now let Qt choose the font drawing method rather than force it (Qt recently fixed some font handling bugs that required me to do that), but haven't had a chance to boot a windows machine to have a look..

Previous to this, I solved the issue on my fathers Windows notebook (which I just upgraded to Win8) by rolling back the graphics driver to an earlier (win7) version supplied by Intel and not Microsoft.

I'd recommend waiting to see if the next build works before resorting to anything like that though.
I'll hopefully get a chance to test it out later tomorrow.

Strange indeed: After uninstalling Comodo firewall (which gave several difficulties) everything is back to normal again...
I even did a presentation about SH and your work just an hour ago and analysed the data of some 15 people, all on the latest nigtly build. Without any flaw!!
Thank you, Mark, you did it again.

An updated "unstable" build of SleepyHead has just been uploaded to SourceForge for Apple Mac users (v0.9.4-3 10 April 2014)
It features the new ability to pin any graph to stay visible by double clicking on its title, plus a couple of minor bug fixes, and includes more of Arie's Dutch translation.

Here's a direct link for those willing to help test it out:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyh ... g/download

While I don't recommend this for use by everyone, it's probably much better/more stable than the last beta Mac release, so please don't be too afraid to give it a try.

At the moment I'm only really interested in bug reports related to this version, or builds compiled from the most recent GIT source code. Way too many bugs have been fixed since the last beta release and I can't track them all anymore. If you were experiencing a bug in the last official Mac build, try this one.

Sorry 60 series PRS1 users, there is nothing special to report yet, but I am getting there though.

I'll build a windows version when I can get near a windows system again. (Hopefully some time tomorrow morning)

Sleep Well,

JediMark

Friends, I can confirm that this is worth while! Mark did a wonderful job again. And maybe the other languages can get on their way too now: There's even a Chinese start emerging...! If anyone needs assistance, I'd like to help. Especially the Germans...?

I'm a fairly technically competent (server & LAN admin + simple programming and web) and I'd like to be of use, but if you don't mind me being a little lazy (I could figure it out)... On Windows 7 can I safely run the unstable and stable builds side by side and still be of use as a tester? It would be nice to be able to have my regular stable sleepyhead with my long term data that I care about as well as the unstable version for checking nightly data and bug testing. I suspect I probably can, but I don't want to just assume the programs won't find each other's dll files or registry entries with strange results.

You indeed can.. Unstable builds by default keeps it's data and settings completely separate from the older builds. You can run both versions concurrently.

You can also change the data folder location at will easily from the file menu now.

I just started using the unstable Mac build, because the other one doesn't work with my PR series 60 machine. So far I have had no trouble with this build. I'll keep an eye out for bugs though.

I'm starting to feel I really should be recommending this build version for all Mac users.. The previous official builds are in a pretty dodgy state.

I don't know if I am an "advanced tester", but tonight I went ahead and downloaded the unstable version for the Mac- and finally it does get my data from my Bipap
and I still will continue to run a more stable version of sleepyhead on windows through my Parallels program on my mac, for now. . .

Thanks so much Mark, I like using SleepyHead (unstable version) directly on my Mac, way better than through the Windows on Parallels for Mac.

First time poster.

I've read all I can find on SleepyHead with respect to the CMS-50FW (firmware version 3.7W) since I received mine a couple of days ago. I can definitely say that this latest version does not work with the 50FW. I really didn't think it would when I saw the 'make sure the meter is in upload' dialog but I tried anyway. Immediate crash.

I don't know if crash logs are of use to you, but I saved it just in case. Let me know if you want it.

Is there any word at all on reading from the CMS-50FW or in reading the spo2 files created by the CMS software?

I just uploaded a fresh Windows build from the unstable tree, with the latest changes and bugfixes.

For anyone with the time to test, it should be pretty good.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyh ... p/download

This one has the experimental ability to import CSV data produced by the Somnopose application for iOS, which tracks sleep positions, which provides two new graphs, orientation and inclination, to compare with your CPAP data. I've not used Somnopose application, but from what I've seen/heard of it, it looks pretty useful.

Good luck.

/Mark

Mark,
I am new this group and would like to start using SleepyHead software (planing to build from source on my Ubuntu desktop). I just switched my machine from "F&P Icon" to "PRS1 60 Auto" and I am wondering if there is a way to import the data from F&P (I have been using it for couple of years) into SleepyHead and continue with my "PRS1 60 Auto" data going forward?

Is this latest win build intended to work with the 960 ASV machines?

Hi and thanks for making this open source software.

I just wanted to report a bug in the update check in the latest MAC OS build. The notification popup says " Error parsing XML update file"
Let me know if you need more info. You can also PM me and we can connect on skype if that would be helpful.
I haven't used the sotfware yet, just got my S9 today

thanks
