Take care of yourself, Stormy. Keep a phone handy and do not hesitate to call for help.
We can't reach through the mighty web, and make you take it easy, but we will be sending vibes to that effect.

Stormy,

Listen to what the cute little frog says or CF will send some of her much larger cousins to come by and sit on you and make you stay resting so you can heal. These 'watch frogs' will alert the entire household should you disregard the stay down and rest order!

I am so glad you replied. They told me when they put it in it would have to be removed in a few weeks. Putting it in was scary but the thought of removing it was terrifying. When I was released they said they wouldn't have to remove it. I wasn't sure what to think about that. Putting it in was very painful. It felt like a rat chewing a hole in my neck. Now if my blood pressure would stay close to normal I will be on the mend. My BP is way too low.

So Stormy,

How are things going today?

Remember to TAKE IT EASY.

Also don't hesitate to call the doc's office if there's anything that's concerning you.

You are all so sweet. I went to see my PCP today. My foot is still very swollen. He wrapped it and told me to keep it elevated. My blood pressure is extremely low so he told me to drink coffee. I may be calling him tomorrow about sleeping pills. I am retaining fluid but I can't take anything for that because of the blood pressure thing. I am really doing well. He thinks I will be able to one day be off the oxygen during the day. Sitting with my foot propped up all day is the pitts.

Hey, they paid my boss pretty darn good money for doing that all day and he never complained!

Stormy, I remember reading the original posts a while back. I'm sorry to you (and all my friends) that I have been absent from the board. I'm SO, SO, SO glad you are OK.

Stormy, have you considered taking up knitting? It always raises MY blood pressure!

LOL,

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

My daughters are coming over tomorrow to get their hair done. They will sit on the floor while I sit. This will be interesting. It will be fun and maybe raise my blood pressure a little too.
