It would be helpful if you listed you equipment to make sure Encore Basic will work on your machine. Check your PM's (private message) for the link.

I am in the same boat as JSbarb as to the same kind of machine and I used Encore pro 1.6 till my computer failed and I replaced it with a Win 7 64 bit machine. I had copied a link to EP2 some version
which had been working up to the middle Sept . It said It could not see the card so I tried a different card which had data from the past. So no difference. Then I went and got a Back-up reader
which never had been used. and that failed also. I deleated the program and tried to reload it but It fails to load even though it says it has. Gave up
Went to my Daughters Laptop and tried to Load a copy of EP-1.8 on a vista machine and it does not read the card with certainty. It does not like the reader but will work if you switch ports and it reads
the driver again. It is just to flaky to suit me after all of these years of service with minor change. Any advice would be appreciated.

You don't have PMs activated so no one can send you anything but I see that you are showing EncoreViewer 2.1 in your profile.
If it gives you wave form graphs along with the the other reports then there's nothing in Basic that you don't have in Viewer.
The reports are identical no matter which Encore version a person uses.

Thank you, Pugsy. If Encore viewer gives me the same data, I'll just stick with what I've got. Did turn on the PM feature though. Thanks for pointing that out.

I have heard that the new Viewer 2.1 offers wave form graphs (the old Viewer did not) but I don't have access to it to make sure.
If it does...the reports are identical.
You can always use Sleepyhead for wave form anyway. Also wave form is not all that critical if the reports are looking good and you are feeling good. Breath by breath analysis under the microscope is really boring and unless there are major problems it really isn't even needed.
Should you wish to investigate wave form and you don't have it available in Viewer 2.1 just send me a private message.
Wave form is normally a separate report...and usually we have a little blue paperclip looking thing to click on to get it.

Viewer is the patient version of the software. Offers the exact same detailed nightly reports that Pro or Basic offers. The only difference is that with Viewer the ability to change the pressures via the software is absent. Big deal...like we don't know how to do it manually which is easier anyway
Encore Pro and Basic offer the changing of the pressure via software commands so that the DME or doctor can change a setting on the machine without having the machine in front of them. They just put it on the SD card and send the SD card back to the patient.

Viewer 2.1 is fairly new. They fixed the 32 bit vs 64 bit issue and also made it so it works with the 60 series machines (and older machines). It is still Windows only software and won't install on Windows 8 (there is a way to make it work on Win 8 though).
It is NOT compatible with the new 960 ASV model machine.

I have a Respironics SystemOne 50 and would like the Encore Basic please. I have tried the Philips data uploader for sleepmapper.com and it doesn't work at all, keeps telling me my log in is wrong when it's not.

Hi Pugsy,
You sent me the link for the Rescan but it looks like I will be getting one of the Respironics machines instead.
Can I please have the link for the Encore software?
Thank you

Thank you,
I got Encore to load in my Windows7 partition on my Macbook just fine.
Has anyone ever come up with any sort of tutorial for it?

Thank you,
Don

The Help section in Basic does a good job of explaining how to manage the software.
This may help you in regards to a tutorial on what you may see. It's the only official sort of tutorial that I know of
EncoreGuide link this will show you examples of what you will see. For a different machine than yours but the basics are the same.
http://www.healthcare.philips.com/pwc_h ... _Guide.pdf

In my tutorial we talk about SleepyHead and Basic....data is data no matter what software is presented.
