insist in bringing a dead mouse inside and eat it on your bed. Oh and they give you a really suprised look when you aren't happy?

You are part of the pack. You were supposed to eat your portion

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

And you're laughing about this? Sheesh, I freaked out big time when I saw a live one in my apartment.

Ahh its just part of being a country girl, a mouse is nothing compared to what I've come across
The other day I had to pull a half dead kangaroo that had been hit by a car off the road, and that wasn't the worst part (which I won't go into, I've already spoiled the mood)

Well, it sounds like I would fail miserably at being one.

Its taken many years for me to develop a strong stomach, 10 years ago I would of screamed and get someone else to deal with it if the dog brought me a mouse. However... huntsman spiders are a different thing, they must die a horrible death.

OT: Why do dogs..
You think a mouse is gross?

When we lived on a farm we always had dogs that lived outside and we loved having them around when we were out working or fishing or just romping through the woods.

But I think it is absolutely gross to have a dog staying in the house. No nude animal that can't wipe its own butt and take its own shower is going to be in my clean house!

But they can.

That's what your Oriental rug is for.

Our greyhound brought in a flicker, alive. Do you know how many times a flicker poops in the house over a several hour period?

The cat brought me a sparrow once. It had caught it on the tiny balcony and brought it to my bed too.

During the winter we got many mice. It doesn't eat them, just plays with them until they bleed out and then they are ours. We hope that the renos will have closed all the holes so we won't have any this winter.

A sighthound mix named Pencil that I used to have brought in a freshly killed cottontail through the dogie door to share with us my wife's shrieking brought this to my attention. Another time he brought in a vole that he had just caught. He came in and every time he would bite down I heard a squeak, I thought my wife had gotten him a new squeaky toy. When I went to him to see his new toy I noticed kicking feet. I was going to get him out into our courtyard so it wouldn't get loose in the house but he thought I was going to take it away so he swallowed it whole. The other dogs looked at him with seeming awe, kind of like, WOW Pencil eats Real food.
