when i was handed my new S9 Elite last week all setup by the DME, Modem included. All went well, this is one sensitive machine. Only one thing----Modem cannot connect to network. Just Great, i figured the cpap police would be knocking on my door. RT says no worries, data will be on SD card. ( insert light bulb here ). dahuh well yeah....i been reading it every dadgum morning !
with the help of caring people & some Rescan software , i just snapped a pic of compliance with the trusty Iphone , inserted in email & poof problem solved. Ain't technology Great.

I am going to get a prescription for a new CPAP soon. A friend told me our doctor now prescribes machines with the modem. I am going to soak the modem in water for a day. The idea of having someone snoop on me doesn't sit well.

It may be an insurance requirement. As such, it might also be temporary. The modems cost money and the DME doesn't want to be giving them out permanently for free.

So before you soak it in water, make sure you don't have to return it after 90 days. (Why not just unplug it, anyway?)

I decided I could live with 90 days of remote monitoring.

That's exactly why i get paranoid seeing the flashing blue light & text saying ( 4 cannot connect ATT network ) i get cell service fine. it's just the sucker no workie *

That is why I never give my home number anymore ... I tell them I only use a cellphone plus that way you can easily choose to answer or not. I love voice mail

I even told my satellite provider the same when they wanted me to plug in my recievers. (Sorry can't connect a landline as I don't have one )

Already jerked da modem out of machine . Told DME it no workie. They understand !
Just open up ResCan read SD card, take pic & email to DME.
They said may I ask how you came by the SW ? ...I have people- my reply
