Whelp I learned my Clean Mask Cushion lesson

Let me start by saying "I HATE ROUTINE" ..... so my bad ... I haven't been cleaning my Mask Cushion every night .... every weekend I would give it a thorough cleaning ... and I would soak the cushion in hot soapy water .... and when I was done the silicon cushion was "squeaky clean" .... NO, no nightly cleaning ... did you forget the "I HATE ROUTINE"

Lately I've been noticing more leaks as the week goes on .... by Wednesday/Thursday the leaks sucked ... they would keep me up more than my machine was helping me sleep .... and me not paying attention ignored the symptoms ....

So last night, after dinner, I gave my cushion a thorough cleaning .... the silicon is "slippery" when it needs cleaning ... must be from the oils on my skin ... when it's really clean, it's kinda sticky ... it doesn't slide open and break the seal when the pressure builds .... it stays in place AND SEALED ..... so last night I slept like a bay .... NO MASK FARTS .... NO COLD STREAM blowing in my Eyes .... No BOTTLE LIP slipping out of the bottom of my Quattro FX Mask ....

Like I said the Silicon Mask is sticky when it's clean and slippery when it needs cleaning ... guess I'll have to give in .... I'll try at least wipes every night ... hopefully that will do the trick ... I guess I ought to cave a little ... I feel tons better since I've been using CPAP ...

Put your cleaning supplies together where they are convenient.
Start working on creating the habit of cleaning.
Baby wipes work nicely when you are in a rush--keep the box by the bed.

Actually, I've had the opposite experience. After I DO (finally) wash my mask, it takes several nights of use to get a decent seal and lower leak numbers.

He was asking for help running a humidifier with a battery backup ... And your suggestion is followed by ... But I wouldn't run it with a humidifier ... That's "help"???

I have a 100 APH deep cycle battery and use the ResMed DC Converter for S9 machines and I use my humidifier with it.
