Yes, lots of threads out there.

Many folks have had good success with the CMS-50 line of pulse oximeters. I'm happy with my CMS-50E, but the price has gone up quite a bit since I bought mine last spring. The CMS-50DPlus is a very similar unit. http://www.pulseoxstore.com/Downloadabl ... anchor_107

You want to be sure to get one that allows overnight recording of SpO2 readings.

The CMS50D helped me get a new machine. It proved my O2 was dropping through the night. In my opinion I would recomend one to EVERYONE.

Hi Sparky223. I'm using the Contec CMS50F. It's a honey. While the F model is functionally the same as the D+ and E models, it's battery is rechargeable and it comes with a wrist strap so you sleep with it like a wristwatch. (No cable to connect to a powered unit or strap to go around your neck.)

If you get any one of the above, or possibly other brands that license use of the same Contec device, and you would like to insert the Pulse and Oximetry data into SleepyHead as added graphs with their time scale aligned with the other (standard) SleepyHead graphs, the instructions in my signature line should be helpful.

It's good that you're looking into getting a pulse-oximeter. Our blood oxygen level readings are very important information that they get during our sleep study and titration sleepover, but which readings are otherwise unavailable to us.
