Quattro FFM to Quattro FX FFM?

Post by hobbs » Thu Dec 13, 2012 5:34 pm

Looking for some input from those who have used both. It's for my wife who deals poorly with wearing the mask at all. She will actually go a few days occasionally without wearing it at all; and she calls me hardheaded! Only when she again starts to feel like s--t does she start wearing it again. At least she wears it 100% when we travel.

do like i did. buy a little recording pulse oximeter and record her overnight without the cpap. next morning show her how much her o2 was dropping overnight. it's eye opening.

I have used both. Initially, the FX seems lighter, less obtrusive, and more comfortable than the regular Quattro FFM. However, for me an active side/back sleeper, the Quattro FX FFM was far more prone to leak than the Quattro FFM. After a couple months of trying with the FX, I went back to the straight Quattro.
