Zeo fans!

Post by lazer » Tue Dec 11, 2012 1:33 pm

Just received the following to my wall on FB:
Zeo Holiday Sale! Now through 12/24/12, enjoy 50% off Zeo Replacement Sensors for all Zeo Models! No Coupon Needed! Also, a FREE Zeo eye mask with ANY purchase! Like this post for a chance to win a FREE Zeo on Dec. 17th!!!
BUT,

I tried to make a purchase of the (3)pk replacement sensors via my account at myzeo.com and the price never changed from the $49.xx whatever so I did not proceed to giving them my credit card to process the order.

Thanks for the head's up on this! It's working fine and I just ordered two more packets of 3....6 sensors for $49 w/free shipping is a good deal. My sensors last about 6 - 8 months, so this will keep me going for a long time.

Thanks for the heads-up! I bought a single replacement when I bought my refurb unit direct from Zeo right after Thanksgiving, but it'll be worth getting more now at this price.

I'm going to cry. I just spend $101 on 2 packages on amazon. It arrived on Friday.

I haven't opened it yet and I'm sending it back to amazon. The $40-$50 difference is way to much to let it be. Its going to cost me $5 in shipping but its worth it.

The estimate is 90 days (YMMV)
The machine will tell you when it needs a new sensor.

I can't remember when I got my zeo but the pads are pretty worn and I've been through at least 2 of those "Trick reset" periods where I told it I replaced them.

Bob, the bedside unit will signal to replace the sensor after 90 day of use. The signal has nothing to do with the quality of the sensor. It is strictly based on days used. You can reset the signal by following the steps to replace the sensor without actually replacing it. Then you're good to go for another 90 days. But you don't have to reset it. Everything still works with the signal displayed. As the sensor gets worn, it seems to take longer for the Mickey Mouse icon to show up and the results seem to become erratic with dropped signals and increased awakenings noted. I've gone at least 120 days on some of mine.

I have been using the desktop model for over 4 months and it is still working fine. It will tell you when it needs to be changed.

Zeo on sensor pad replacement: http://www.myzeo.com/sleep/node/582
For clarification, the replace sensor pad message is based on elapsed time - specifically, 90 nights of data since you indicated the pad was replaced - when you get a new pad, go through the settings to reset the timer. For some people, the headband can actually function for much longer, but you may notice some reduction is signal quality. For others, they really do need a replacement after about 90 days.

Hi Jay, Good to know. I haven't been using mine but haven't replaced the sensors either. Haven't gotten a message, but since I bought mine used, that may have been reset. Might set it back up.
