I have finally gotten my S9, but in another post i had about the DME someone said it should say the name of model around the start button. What I see there is Autoset in top letf and EPR in bottom right of start button. Can you tell me which model it is or is there something else I should check.

As far as I know, you've got the S9 Autoset, the gold standard.

The DME said they were ordering me the S9 elite so that is why I wanted to double check.

That's the AutoSet. That's excellent. It will do everything the Elite does, plus more. Hang onto it.

EPR is an optional feature that helps make it easier to exhale for some people. "Exhale Pressure Relief."

After reading this thread, I'm not sure what model ResMed S9 I have. My DME is playing games with me because they did not tell me it had previously been used by another patient for a couple of weeks. I found that out when I got an SD Card and then saw the data in ResScan and Sleepyhead.

Mine says (only) "VPAP Auto" above the Start/Stop button. On the back, it says: "ResMed IPX1 SN 22121202846 REF 36006 LOT 350589A" It was previous used in August and I received it 9/11/12.

What model do I have?

Ward you have a S9 VPAP Auto. Resmed's top of the line BiLevel machine.

I'd say to hang on to it. If they touch it again, there's an extra chance for them to screw it up.

Don't believe the SD card. Sometimes, they may swap cards around and your card might have data from another machine.

Look at the "run hours" under the advanced info menu. Press Info and setup and hold for 3 seconds. Then go to sleep report, press the knob, then scroll down. "run hours" is the number that can't be reset.

Archangle, the SD Card was my own. It did not come with an SD Card.

The total run hours confirms it had been run before I got it. I noticed those hours before I even used it. It had been used before.
