OT The most important thing is to believe.

Post by carbonman » Tue Aug 07, 2012 6:36 am

My strength, resolve, perseverance, patience and faith
are to be put to the test.
My dear sister had surgery yesterday to remove part
of her colon and numerous lymph nodes and cancerous
mass around it. They could not get all the cancer that is
still there. They installed a port to receive the cemo that is
coming as soon as she is strong enough.
It is advanced to stage 4. She has some chance to survive
for some amount of time, w/the cemo.

I humbly ask for your prayers and strength and kind thoughts,
for her.
"If your therapy is improving your health but you're not doing anything
to see or feel those changes, you'll never know what you're capable of."
I said that.

I'll offer up a rosary for her. What is her name?

Carbonman,

I am so sorry your dear sister and your family are facing this crisis. Prayers are being offered up for her comfort physically and mentally. Life is so fragile, we should never take a day for granted.

Peace and Love to you all.

Karen

Carbonman,

Your avatar picture and quote have been an inspiration to me on this forum to think about what is possible. I will do that now for your sister. I know you are strong -- hope you can find some comfort for yourself as you are strong for your sister.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Far beyond the mechanics of blowing air up your nose,
Through the Divine,
support, courage, love
and hope,
flows into my heart.
Thank you!!
Better news to report. We just talked to the oncologist.
No cancer found in major organs.
What is left is very treatable.
At this point, we are talking years and after that, who knows.
I feel so much better.
Her name is Shirley Ann.
