how to cool down when waking up sweating

Post by napstress » Sun Jun 24, 2012 5:14 pm

I discovered a wonderful way to cool down when waking up sweating at night (for whatever reason): detach the hose from the mask and direct the air to the body. Feels great and helps in getting back to sleep quickly.
Epworth Sleepiness Scale: 14
Diagnostic study: overall AHI: 0.2 events/hour; overall RDI: 45 events/hour
Titration study: AHI: 6.1; RDI: 27; CPAP pressures: 5-8cm

Not-tired behind my eyes and with a clear, cool head!

Three fans are in the bedroom, just waiting for when they are needed.
I'd have AC on 24/7 if it wasn't so expensive.

I recently purchased a mattress cover made with CoolMax. I am waiting for a rather hot night and see how it goes to know for sure but so far things seem cooler.
