Try some of those AROMATHERAPY drops in your humidifier tank. Should never smell bad again.

Consensus seems to be that anything other than water in the tank is a bad idea.

Two drops of a water-based fragrance can't possibly hurt a humidifier tank. Just be sure you get the ones specifically made for CPAP.

I've been using a couple drops of pharmaceutical grade Eucalyptus oil in mine off-and-on for months with no ill effects. It helps clear my sinuses.
