I've been on therapy for a number of years however earlier this week
noticed a situation I had not previously encountered.
I had a bout of hiccups shortly before I was about to hit the sack for
the night. My initial inclination was to wait until that passed. but I
hit the sac and put on the mask.
The minute the air started to blow the hiccups ceased immediately.
Coincidence or is this the secret hiccup cure?
hiccups..
hiccups..

Re: hiccups..
Holding your breath doesn't work, as well as a whole bucketful of folk 'remedies'.
I found that continuously breathing in and out without stopping usually ends them--for me.
The trick is to let your diaphragm relax, as I believe hiccups are a muscle spasm of the diaphragm.
I will try hosing up next time. Cheers.
