cpap.com packing = bad luck

following on from my mashed up and repacked aloh mask (via USPS) which cpap.com took care of.
I now get my new PR ONE machine repacked (via FEDEX)

So did you call about that?
Did you you follow up with FedEx why they opened the box?

I think you have two telephone calls to make... that's for sure. Strange that FedEx would open it up... but not much of this type of thing is strange any longer.
If only the folks with sawdust for brains were as sweet and obliging and innocent as The Scarecrow! ~a friend~

When you move that many boxes, bad things can happen. I expect boxes being opened via forklift is not that uncommon.

but its a $600 medical machine in a bag and a cardboard box i think i would prefer some foam some peanuts or something around it? its not a toaster

Odd, I've had all the damage and slow shipping with UPS.
FedEx has been OK for me.(knock on wood) Likewise with USPS--especially Priority mail.

My desk used to face the UPS garage exit. I have seen a truck pull out of the garage with the back doors open. Packages fell out and were run over by the truck behind it.
Another time I received a package with tire tracks on it. And then there are the youtube videos of packages being delivered. One security camera caught the driver throwing a computer monitor over a fence when the homeowner was at home waiting for the delivery!
