Probably OT: What do you hate about Low Carb eating?

That when the masses figure out that you can eat a whole avocado for lunch and not gain weight, the price for them will go up.

Sandwiches are impossible when there's no dog handy.
Edit: to EAT THE BREAD! I don't observe exotic diet choices.

I hate that I feel so darn good on low carb I want to shout it from the rooftops, but most people don't want to hear it.

I hate that it's so hard to order alternative side choices at restaurants because they think everyone must have potato, and that some eateries will NOT substitute for any reason, regardless of whether I'm willing to pay extra or not!!

Essentially.. I hate dining out unless it's a place I know will give me the low-carb choices I ask for.

Cheers,
xena

I just hate that there is 105lbs less of me than there used to be...(yes, tongue in firmly in cheek)

I hate that my most recent A1c was 5.4 and I'm type 2 diabetic.

I hate that my most recent blood work looked like this:

Trigs 50
HDL 65
LDL 131

Just hate all this.

I hate that eating low carb is so hard for me.

I hate that at the moment I am sitting in a house with a fridge full of pastries that I shouldn't be eating but probably will anyway.

Once you figure out that wheat and sugar are addictive, it gets easier. I can prove what I just stated. I say quit eating wheat products and sugar and you have a strong reaction to that. I say you have to quit eating brussel sprouts and you could care less...about quitting them or eating them.

Do you think it is an accident that wheat and sugar are in pretty much all processed foods? Nope. it isn't. A diet of only real foods promotes good health and wheat and sugar don't fall into that category.

BTW, I sure enjoyed my 3/4lb ribeye and asparagus that I had for dinner tonight. I put lots of real butter on both of them.

This is true! I keep thinking about carbs! I could never feel that way about a vegetable. Maybe a bit about meat or chicken if I knew I was giving them for good. But even knowing that I probably haven't given up carbs for good, I am thinking about them, longing for them, fantasizing about them...

I am 51 , weight 132 , bmi is 23 , 5'3". That is heavier than I have been but not obese. Will losing weight help me ? 10 lbs lighter would be more ideal for my frame but I am gaining not losing. Carbing up to get charged up a little to function. Obviously this is counter productive. I know I will feel more comfortable at the lower weight Will my OSA improve ? Go ahead , inspire me !
