Today I have come to the forum 3 times and I have needed to login each time even if I chose the automatic log in box.

I'm logout again, the permanent login box is not working. You are not been automatic login when you return.

Log in does not hold..
I log in...get to read one unread post..go back to main forum page and I am no longer logged in.
I have to log in again to read one post...same thing over and over again.
I have tried deleting board cookies...no help.
Log in each time to read one unread post is PITA.

Hi guys,

This is a common problem when this particular software gets moved. Try clearing your cookies for this site, and then trying again.

Let us know if there are any other issues you're having.

I have cleared the cookies multiple times including just now.
When I respond to a post...I stay logged in when I go back to the forum.
When I just read a post and don't respond...and I go back to forum I am logged out.

Ditto.
And just before the problem appeared, there was an SQL error message the one couldn't login because there were too many connections.

The problem is there in both IE and Google Chrome.

And - I couldn't post this message as the Guest I had become...

Just noticed something. If I click at the very top/left of the page on the cpaptalk.com logo, all is well it seems and I stay logged in while browsing through topics.

If I click on the "Return to CPAP and Sleep Apnea (CLICK HERE TO READ POSTS)" at the bottom of the topic, this is when it seems to log me out.

Yep...using to log to go back to main page works..just tried it and I stayed logged in.
If I type a response and click on the usual "return to cpap..." link....I stay logged in but if I just read and do not reply to a post it kicks me out still and I have cleaned every darn cookie on my computer (that was a nightmare resetting passwords) and it still doesn't want to hold the log in.

I won't be doing anymore cookie cleaning for a while. It isn't the cookies as far as I can tell.
