when you mess with the site coding could you please leave a space between multiple quotes on replies. it would make replying easier. for instance when i hit the quote buttom i'll get something like (quote=whoever)(quote=greatunclebill). when i hilite the text to remove text and one or more of the quote tags it always hilites across into the previous tag. normally i put a space between them like this (quote=whoever) (quote=greatunclebill) and then hilite it to delete it. thanks for understanding.

I'm not getting notified by e-mail to post that I have posted in or post that I have subscribed to. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm thinking it might have something to do with the change they just made.

It appears that the Chat Live is not actually connecting to the Chat.

I asks for a user name and when hitting Login, it will say connecting but will not connect.
The bar to the right is still moving while waiting.

I am using IE 8 on a Win 7 32 bit system

I'm having the same problem, no notifications by email of new posts I subscribed to or email notification of PMs I've received. Very frustrating, this has been going on for several days and I thought it was something wrong on my end. Glad I'm not the only one.

Same here last night and again this morning.
Seems Ok, now.
Kind of pointless when we can't contact anyone until it's all over.

I had this same problem starting back last October. Never could get enough info/help from the administrators to help resolve it. In my case there is something in the cpaptalk messages that apparently GoDaddy would not let them come through. Things started working after I changed to using a different email on my ISP instead of GoDaddy.

But the last few days I haven't gotten any new notifications on my current email either. I should have gotten notifications for this topic at least. There definitely is something haywire somewhere with the way messages are formatted, or something of the sort, by Cpaptalk.

I sent Johnny an email when I saw the site had a problem last night. Don't know if that was the first he was aware of it or not, but I got a response from him right away about what happened. In the interest of sparing him the possibility of excessive numbers of messages I won't disclose his email, or how I got it.

Chunky, since you're on here all the time, and I'm backing off on my presence due to other activities, if you would like I'll send you my email so you can let me know when something like this happens. I can then let Johnny know. Send me a PM if you want to go this route.

There is an email address in the first post on this thread. Of course I forgot to put it in my contacts and couldn't find it in my "sent" folder LOL.

No access to the site for about a day. This is the error message:

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists. in /var/www/vhosts/cpaptalk3/httpdocs/includes/db/dbal.php on line 602

P.S. If you get an error message, post the error message.

That must be where I got it. Had forgotten they were there.

I'm having the same problem and I believe some others as well. Carolyn Goodman is aware of this issue and hopefully will get it resolved asap.

Howdy All,

We've tweaked config settings and are hopeful we've found the source of the issue. Any who are willing, please run some tests and let me know if you receive emails.

Thanks,
Johnny
