I don't use baby wipes. I use Ivory had soap. I wash my hands and wash my pillows. Then put them back on the mask to dry.

I new to pillows so I can't really comment. I'm following the advice someone gave here on cpaptalk.com.
Washed mine with baby shampoo/body wash. Didn't wash real hard. Rather a quick wash and rinse and left to dry on towel in a dark room where the sun wasn't hitting it. From what I've gathered it sounds like the shorter/quicker the wash/rinse the longer the life of the pillow.

I use baby wipes (the type you mentioned) every morning. Once a week, I use baby shampoo, and wash the entire set up. Works for me. I keep my fx pillows wrapped in a cozy made by pad-a-cheeks, I don't know if that lengthens the time of use but they seem to last about 2 months.

This would have sounded terrible to me a few months ago but for me it works.
I don't wash my pillows at all now! I use the swift fx and for years I had such a problem getting anything to seal.I cleaned everything everyday and soaked in vinegar solution once a week.I could not get anything to seal and felt I was having no luck at all with the c-pap machine.
About 3 months ago my husband found out he had sleep apnea and told me not to wash them, that's why they wouldn't seal. I disagreed at first but finally gave it a try. Now we both use unscented baby wipes at bedtime, have no trouble with them at all, they always seal and stay sealed and we are over 3 months on the ones we are using now.

Hope this works for you as it did me.
GOD BLESS YOU!

I am like "Try Again". I use pampers "thick wipes" for sensitive skin. It comes in a blue-green package. It has no alcohol and no aloe. The alcohol will deteriorate the mask plastic and the aloe will leave an unwanted film. I use the wipes on a daily basis (because its quicker). On Saturdays, I wash the mask with baby shampoo. I use a tooth brush to scrub the mask. Then I soak the mask in water and baby shampoo suds for an hour or two. I found that I have to rinse the mask real good to get the baby shampoo smell off the mask.

I use "Ivory Pure" dish soap (no additives) for my entire mask (Hybrid).

I think most "wipes" are harder on the silicone than washing them. Maybe the ones made especially for CPAP are not but they are $$. I wouldn't touch my mask with a regular wipe.

Sensitive skin baby wipes are so mild, gently wiping a silcone mask shouldn't do it any harm. I wouldn't use pure Ivory dish soap on a baby's butt.

I use the cpap wipes, a little pricey but I cut them probably in thirds so they last a long time. Once a week I wash with Dawn, warm rinse and air dry. I don't take the mask apart.

I started using the baby sensitive skin wipes but found that the cushions on my Quattro fx and Hybrid masks got soft real quick. This did not happen with the CPAP wipes. Also I found that baby shampoo still left a slight oily film on my mask. I started having major leaks with my Quattro fx mask after only 2 weeks. So I switched to Ivory hand soap (bar type) and this seemed to do the trick, no more leaks.
