gash in face mask

Post by Janetlm » Wed Mar 23, 2011 8:43 am

My sweet little adorable Newfy puppy, 120 lbs. managed to stick a tooth hole through the soft plastic
that goes around nose. What could i use to patch that? Duct tape? Weird adhesive tape?
Can't go another night w/o mask.

Would anyone like a large puppy.....?

Thanks, Janet

This is why I always have a spare nasal pillow. I had a dog eat one or rather maybe not the whole thing but close enough.

I would take the puppy but I already have 3 and no more room on the bed.. They are beautiful dogs though.

No experience with your type of mask and which tape might be best for temporary repair. Always believed duct tape could fix almost anything but I will defer to those that have had other damage issues and more experience.

I would try some paper tape and then order a new seal from your DME or Cpap.com

There are several Activa Lt cushions listed on ebay right now. Get yourself a backup or 2.
