hapy,

have you tried mounting the SD card before you start ResScan? That's what I usually do and it seems to work fine.

When you put the SD card back into the S9, does it say it's reading the card normally?

Just noticed ResScan 3.11 on Pirate Bay. It needs seeders.

Hapy/Laura,

That's the same problem I had. I did 2 things. 1) Installed the SD reader drivers, 2) made sure the SD card was making contact with the pins in the jump drive. (On my first try I knew it was it was not making contact because Windows Explorer did not recognize any data on the card.) Don't know which of the above worked; maybe it was both.

RobySue,

Do you have drivers installed?.. trying to figure out if the drivers are needed.

Thanks for all the tips! I think it wasn't making a good connection as the light kept going out. I gave it a good push and viola! Now for a tutorial as to what all this information means!!! It's very cool to see what's happening to you in the night and I'm wondering how this info will look next to my sleep study...Now I'm wondering who I have to get that from! Thanks again!

You don't need the drivers unless you are using the proprietary ResMed card reader. Not needed for a normal SD card reader. You might try uninstalling and reinstalling without the drivers. Remember to reboot after uninstalling and then again after reinstalling.

RobySue,

Do you have drivers installed?.. trying to figure out if the drivers are needed.
Only drivers that (might) be installed on my XP are the standard ones for the operating system in order to read an SD card in a plain old SD card reader attached to the USB drive.

I say *might* because my hubby put the XP together for me out of an old PC lying around gathering dust. And I know he hasn't installed anything that wasn't part of the operating system. But the computer can read SD cards in my USB SD card readers bought for downloading pictures as well as USB flash drives.

My process for downloading the data:
1) Boot the computer
2) Put the SD card into the SD card reader and attach the SD card reader to a USB port.
3) Wait for the computer to mount (recognize) the SD card.
4) Start ResScan and open myself up as a patient
5) Download the data (and look at it if I have time)
6) Quit ResScan
7) Do the "Safely remove hardware" dance
8) Detach the SD card reader from the PC and remove the SD card to put it back in the S9
9) De-boot computer

To look at the data that's already been downloaded, all I do is boot the computer and launch ResScan and open my patient record up.

Hope that helps.
