I have two items:
1. to me DME is simply DUMBY

2. when I'm angry with the machine, hubby tells me to call it Continuous Respiratory Airway Pressure.

Love the post! (5 out of 5)

Mike; let me guess what your super power is:

Machine: AirSense™ 10 AutoSet™ For Her CPAP Machine with HumidAir™ Heated Humidifier
Mask: AirFit™ P10 For Her Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask with Headgear
Additional Comments: Backup: Devillbiss Intellipap Autoadjust
I once was lost in apnea; but now I'm found--breathing easily all night long.

Recently diagnosed and depressed over the whole thing---a Laugh! Best medical therapy I've had so far. Tonight I'll try again with a smile. THANKS!

This is my first time to this forum as well as newly diagnosed with central sleep apnea. It is scary but
with my always supportive hubby I know I'll adjust in time. I thoroughly enjoyed your CPAP Glossary and
do believe laughter is the best medicine. I could just picture my head flying around the room

Thanks for the pick-me-up.

Thank you for taking time to create and share this. Every little bit of info that defuses anxiety over starting to use the equipment... especially clean/ golden. I'm new here as of yesterday and already lighter of spirit and more open to the experience. <3

Machine: DreamStation Auto CPAP Machine
Mask: Mirage™ FX For Her Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear
Humidifier: DreamStation Heated Humidifier
Additional Comments: Presets: Ramp 5/full-on 14 Chin strap required. Sleep study # 31. The system does have software. Presently not in use.
