Re: ResScan 3.10 -> 3.14

Post by Perrybucsdad » Fri Sep 23, 2011 7:38 am

Anyone know how to get v3.14 to use 3.13 data? I had 3.13 installed on one computer (home) and 3.14 on another (work). I copied my user folder from 3.13 on a memory stick and thought I could just install it onto the 3,14 machine, but the file structure is really different. Anyone know how to import all that data into 3.14 if I DON'T have my SD card with me and only the folder from 3.13?

It seems the storage location changed, but I don't remember if it was depending on the version of ResScan, or the operating system. Do you have the same operating system on each machine?
Did you copy the "Patient File"?

Yes, I copied the patient data folder. The old version had a series of folders (Datalog, Settings, and some other small files). The new version doesn't have that structure, just some small files. Is the detail data stored someplace else in the new version possibly?

In 3.13, my patient files are here: C:\Users\Public\Documents\ResMed\ResScan3\Patients

There are daily "date".rlk files, notes.db. patientdetails.db, and a summary.dat file

Datalog etc. and *.edf is the raw data on the SD card when you take it out of the machine. ResScan will only read this data from an external drive that has that exact data structure. You'll have format a diskonkey, and put only the SD data on it if you want ResScan to read it.

Newbe on the forum. Just got my Resmed S9 Auto VPAP a couple of weeks ago and would like to see the software to help track my own progress. The daily info is minimal and would like to see trends etc.

Where do I find the link to download it?

Thanks for your help

Unclebob's link points to 3.13. Where is the link to 3.14?

Please read the first post in this topic. It says to change 3.13 in the link to 3.14.

Okay, how do you change the link to 3.14? I have tried but can't make it work.

Hi,

Same problem tried to download the software as per instructions, ver. 3.13 link downloaded with no problem. I have not yet installed it because I was trying to get the latest ver. 3.14. I put open link in new window then changed the ver. in the address to 3.14 from 3.13, says unable to find.

I assume that Uncle-Bob referred to it as 3.13 while it is 3.14. In any case there is not need remove any old version. Just boot the new one as is.

Sorry Ticman and Canadianguy,

I don't know how to get anything other than 3.13. That's what I am using now.
