If you mean why not use icons instead of text to show your equipment, it's because when we're reading your posts and look to your information below them, it's a lot easier to just read the names of things rather than having to click on the pix and wait for the link to open.

Good answer, Julie, but I will betcha the OP was making a "pre-spam" test post.

It's characterized by a combination of inscrutable ID plus a nearly-but-not-quite-meaningful post. On some systems, even that is semi-automated, in which the spammer finds a keyword (such as "rainout") and then just posts a googled definition of the term.

Invariably, they return within a month selling either porn, chemicals, or pornographic chemicals.

If I am wrong, I will happily apologize to "SedexzaVI," although the general principle stands.

(Looks like Gumby got in before me, but I'll keep this explanatory text in the thread.)
