Rested Gal Hits 10,000 Posts!

Post by johnnygoodman » Mon Dec 14, 2009 9:31 am

Howdy All,

Congratulations to Rested Gal for hitting 10,000 CPAPtalk posts!

As an early member of CPAPtalk, Rested Gal's actions, outlook and passion for helping CPAP users have had a huge impact on what our community is today. Thank goodness she showed up!

RG: thank you for your list of links, your can do attitude and your subtle but hilarious sense of humor. Your integrity early on that showed me by your actions what this board should become. Finally, a tip of my hat to you for all the thankless things you do daily to keep this place humming along - I know and I am thankful.

Johnny

Ditto to all that Johnny said. I haven't been here all that long, but I saw RG for the incredibly helpful and caring person she is from the get-go.

I'm SO glad you're here, Laura! Congrats on this milestone!

And most of them are true gems. Thank you for your continuous and unending patience with the rest of us who are, uh, impatient to get this darn treatment working better.

Hear, hear! Amen to all that! As someone said on another thread "I'm not sure, but I think Rested Gal runs this board."

Thank you Laura, for all your efforts on behalf of myself and others. You have built a truly amazing amount of information into this forum. It's a major legacy that anyone should be proud of. Please pat yourself on the back from me.

Huggers,
Barbara

Other than this one fact
You, RG, at the end of the day
Are definitely a class act!

Thanks for your support. In my early days you were one of the crew that helped me believe I could do this. As usual, you were right!

RG, When I first came to cpaptalk I just wanted to learn and get my life back.
Your story inspired me to know that I could do this.
You made a large contribution to that education and therapy success. Thanks!

If it wasn't for you and wulfman, I would probably not have
become so intersted in having and experimenting w/cpap gadgets.
I will forever be in debt, due to you two.
....but I will have a sizeable and very adequate supply of cpap equipment.

Keep doing what you do so well!
"If your therapy is improving your health but you're not doing anything
to see or feel those changes, you'll never know what you're capable of."
I said that.

Congratulations! I'm sure you have not been keeping count but this is great!

I am one of the many, many people that you mentored early on in my therapy.

You certainly have worked at setting a respectful tone for this forum and really made it the helpful, caring community that it is!

A "Lab Rat" and a "Forum" award to You!!!

THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE FOR US ALL, MY FRIEND!

Hi Rested Gal

Thank you, Rested Gal, for all your posts, help and sense of humour.

I always look forward to reading your contributions, and trying to learn from them.

And I guess that would mean more than just cpap stuff.

Congratulations

Funny thing, Laura. Just this morning I woke up thinking about the way you've unflaggingly and continually given wise yet humble advice for so many years, so often patiently answering questions that come up over and over. You have a great soul.

A great sentinel event for a thoughtful teacher. Thanks so much for the advice and inspiration you've given to make this condition and treatment more tolerable. I always look forward to your thoughts.

Hey, isn't there some sort of Nobel Prize deserved here? Maybe a national Rested Gal Holiday?

Best wishes,
Brian
