What type of 'PAP' do you use?

By "pushback" I assume you mean when you exhale. What brand and model xPAP are you using? Most or all of the Resmeds and Respironics devices now have some form of expiration pressure relief that can be turned on or off. It sounds like that is what you need, Resmeds EPR or Respironics' C- or A-Flex turned on.

I am really curious what other people use as their primary therapy. If you use something not referenced please put it in a note

FYI- I am a new CPAP user (for now) but I am interested in something that give less 'pushback'. Just curious about everyones' experience with finding the right 'pap' for them. Cheers

To repeat, Resmed and Respironics have exhale relief designs on their machines, that can be shut off, or activated. If you need the relief (especially good for people with high therapy pressures), go for one of them. If not, the Intellipap is one of the best machines that has no formal exhale relief. What it does do is to adjust to your breathing--the algorithm picks up your respiration rate, and lets you inhale and exhale pretty darn comfortably in my experience.

FYI- I am using a PureSom CPAP Machine with Full Advantage Full Face CPAP Mask with 4 Point Headgear. (rental equipment until I get the permanent. Without reference point I am not sure how good it is but the mask definitely leaks and there is no reduction of presssure at all.

I don't. I just start using the machine again, as is.

Seems reasonable to me. Air only flows out of the machine, not back and forth. We don't hesitate to drink a glass of water drawn from a faucet someone else has used. I would wash a mask someone else used, just like I'd wash a coffee cup someone else drank from, but it doesn't seem to me that any special form of sanitizing or sterilizing is necessary. When I think of all the doorknobs and elevator buttons I touch every day ...
