Re: POLL: Which type of mask is your primary mask?
Because I'm waking up a few times during the night to adjust my leaking Swift Lt, I am:
- going to try putting a little cushion (made from a few layers of moleskin) on my upper lip to angle the pillows a bit more
- trying the velcro cure found here: viewtopic.php?t=5965&highlight=#p54055
Its a very small whistling leak I'm getting but it's enough to disturb my sleep.

After trying all kinds of masks, I finally came back to my first ever CPAP maks, my Ultra Mirage FF Mask. It just works best for me. Of course, we're all different when it comes to mask type preference.

I used to love my Swift LT until I tried the Aura. Then I also tried the CL2. I guess first choice is the Aura, then the Swift and finally the CL2. While I like the CL2, it just doesn't stay put ~ I'm a side sleeping pillow hugger.

Pretty much UMFF at night.
During the day, if I nap, I'll use the hybrid.
I can fall asleep reading or watching a video with my glasses on that way.

Re: POLL: Which type of mask is your primary mask?
I love my FF mask. At my sleep study, they had me try the FF first, and I said, "this is it," and then tried the nasal only and I hated it. Any time I moved my mouth I could feel it shifting and the like.
The only thing I don't like is not being able to wear my glasses with it on, but on the plus side, I don't have to worry about falling asleep with them on (which was a HUGE problem before).

Re: POLL: Which type of mask is your primary mask?
For new readers, I'll just mention this to clarify a bit... the "Aura" was the original name of the "Headrest" mask by Aeiomed. It's been through several name changes, and had several different distributors. Many of us still affectionately call it the "Aura."lktnky wrote:I used to love my Swift LT until I tried the Aura. It's official name is "Headrest" by Aeiomed. Has remained my favorite from when it first came out.

Re: POLL: Which type of mask is your primary mask?
My main mask is the Optilife ,I just got the Fullife as a backup for when allergies get real bad and I have to breath thru my mouth .
Re: POLL: Which type of mask is your primary mask?
Yeah, I hug my pillow, with my blankets pulled over my head, as I start sleeping at 7pm, and I have to get up at 3am to be to work by 4am. My UMFF was the third mask that I tried, as the other two, (forgive me, I don't remember the names), kept leaking all over the place. One of them was a gel cushion, but still don't remember the name. I have also tried the nasal pillows, as my dad had one he never used, and it cost him a small fortune, but when I used it, I HAD to take it off, as it was driving me NUTS!!millich wrote:Yep. That is all, and thank-you for hearing me ramble, as I only got about 5 hours of sleep the last 2 nights. See my other post, and you'll understand!!
