Nostrils getting larger?

I have been using a cpap machine for the past few weeks. So far so good other than sometimes I unknowingly take the mask off in the middle of the night. Does anyone think the nasal pillows make their nostrils bigger? Its seems like my nostrils are stretching out. Am I just thinking crazy here or what?

check your fingers... are they large?
If so, may have found the cause of the enlarged nostrils

LOL...so true! and yes my fingers are quite large.

I have noticed one thing.....My sinuses are no longer screwed up liek they used to be. Im sure the moisture through the cpap machine is helping this. Im also using some type of nose spray the doctor prescribed

But, luckily, now after one year on cpap I still use the small size nasal pillows - so I suppose it's just our imagination. (I hope)
I've got this funny habbit nowadays looking at people's nostrils - are they round and which size nasal pillow will fit !

After years on cpap with nasal pillows, yeh my nares are wider. I used to be able to get my little finger in there, now my thumb fits.

I use the large size nasal pillow. So maybe Im not crazy? I swear the pillows expanding in your nose everynight has got to take a toll on the size of your nostril.

Is the opening on your nasal pillows oval? If so, have you adjusted them to match the oval of your nostirls? I'm new to nasal pillows (one weeks' use) and find they are generally comfortable and don't leak much if fitted properly.

Oh mine dont leak at all. That isnt an issue. Im just think that when they expand they may stretch yoru nostrils out over time.

I think this is so funny. I too look at the nostrils of others. Also how much their nostrils show head on.

Well Rooster, your nostrils may have stayed the same size since using nasal pillows for 3 years, but it looks you have changed from a Rooster to a Pig ..............I can only hope my pillows turn me into a kat pampered as much as the ones pampered by me!!!!!

I have been using nasal pillows for about two months. I too thought that maybe my nostrils were expanding. After reading the posts above I decided to do a finger check. They fit the same way they always did. No expansion detected.
