I worked on an emergency psychiatry team for about 10 years before switching to the position that I am in now; have lots of expereince with patients needing medication change. PLEASE be cautious about changing anti-depressant meds abruptly and make sure that you talk to your doctor about going off meds and, how to do it safely. Abruptly stopping meds is never a good idea unless the Dr. says it is safe to do so.
