Alcohol and Using a CPAP Machine - Do they Mix?
I used to enjoy a couple of stiff drinks but the effect on my sleep was significant before the therapy. I would wake up after sleeping through the night but felt like I never slept. My legs would be sore and it took at least two days to completely recover.
After using the CPAP for a week, I felt so much better and I thought maybe I could bring cocktail hour back... but I was very wrong. The same symptoms returned immediately. No need to ask the doctor, it is too obvious that even a couple of drinks causes problems.
