Dreamwear for dry-eyes patients

Post by robert-tim » Fri Mar 15, 2024 12:53 pm

I have been using a Dreamwear mask for several months. However, I have dry eyes, and eventually developed conjunctivitis. Upon reading the Dreamwear instructions again, I came across a statement that those who have dry eyes should not use this mask, for it blows air into the eyes.

There are glasses similar to swim goggles that are intended to be worn with such masks, and I have ordered them. I would like to continue with Dreamwear, though it might be necessary to use a different mask if this solution does not work. I'm wondering if anyone else has had such an experience?

Would you share where your purchased the the eye goggles? I am thinking about getting something from the Dry Eye Shop. I used their Tranquileyes years ago for another problem, but that particular product doesn't work for me with keeping air completely out of my eyes at night. Thanks!

As a person with dry eyes, I find the subject of the thread misleading.
Made me think this was a mask for dry eyes, while you mean to say it's not.
How about:

"Dreamwear not for dry-eyes patients. Solutions?"

That's right. "Dreamwear not [recommended] for dry-eyes patients. Solutions?"
Anyhow, tomorrow I expect to get the goggles I ordered to remedy the condition and will report on my experiences Monday morning if the goggles arrive on time.
"Corrective lenses?" :-)

Such a mask needs to be invented.
Years ago!
Damn it.

Edit: I mean a cpap mask for sufferers of dry eye. (Heck, I'd buy one!)

Instead of replyingy you can simply edit the subject line - like I've done. I can't change your subject - only you can do that.

And it can be done while editing the first post of this thread.
I have abused the heck out of that cool feature.
