Goldwater law firm ad

Post by AfibApnea » Fri Mar 25, 2022 12:43 pm

I'm posting this just for general information regarding the recall--and because a search on this forum discloses no posts regarding this ad. (my apologies for re-posting if I am wrong)

I received a phone call from a friend regarding an ad concerning the Philips Respironics recall and targeting users/former users of recalled PR units.

The following website also relates to this ad. https://www.ispot.tv/ad/OeYD/goldwater- ... entilators Apparently the ad has been around since late July 2021...

I know nothing more about the matter but am curious to know how fellow pap users relate to ads of this sort.

Ambulance-chasing lawyers. Disgusting. They reap millions; CPAP users get enough to buy lunch.

I've been involved in a number of class-action lawsuits. The most money I received was $69; the lawyers literally received millions.

This drives up the cost of insurance and all the products you buy.

I cannot decide which is more evil--the shysters or Philips.
Shakespeare had the right idea.
--"The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers."
He may have not meant it literally; but the idea becomes more appealing every year.

Ease up, folks. Lawyers are great when 6 feet under.

Slater & Gordon, the biggest class action lawyers in Australia have just advised their clients that a class action against Philips is unlikely to bring in enough to cover costs. They recommend against proceeding.

* An alternative to Oscar - try SleepHQ

Maybe the profession is better regulated in Australia than in the US.
Or at least as not as badly infested with parasites.
