I found this the article. However, I'm looking to you all who may be using one, and get your recommendation.

Pulse Oximeter Recommendations
Re: Pulse Oximeter Recommendations
I've had the Wellue O2Ring for well over a year. The O2 reads that I was getting when I started out with it were sufficiently low to convince my PCP to schedule a sleep study which the results of indicated severe obstructive sleep apnea. Now on CPAP therapy and having generally good O2Sat numbers that I check daily on my computer via USB while going through email and other things. It does correlate well with data I pull off the Phillips DreamMapper app and the Oscar program when I use that. The O2Ring also works with smartphones and tablets via Bluetooth. After a morning read on the PC I leave it connected to the USB port to charge for the day. A little pricey, but has worked well and I figure my health is worth it.

I use a Contec CMS50F. It will record one nights worth of data and is compatible with Oscar. The software that comes with it requires a PC. You should be able to get one for $70-$80 on Ebay, sometimes less.Starlette wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 12:15 pmWebsite: https://www.sleepdeeper.net/best-pulse- ... eep-apnea/

Starlette,
I also use the Wellue ring. Can't imagine anything better. You don't even know you have it on.Whatever you decide, I would make sure you can import the info into Oscar. The Wellue does.

Hey Thumper, I looked at Oscar yesterday when the Contec device was mentioned and I didn't see where Oscar could import files from the Wellue ring. Does Oscar read the Wellue 'csv' file which can be exported from the PC program or can it 'read' the ring data directly via a USB connection?Thumper1947 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 5:30 amStarlette,

"Manual Import
Beginning in OSCAR 1.1.0, the following pulse oximeters are imported via OSCAR's Data > Import Viatom Data... menu. See Viatom File Import for how to download and import their data files.
Viatom/Wellue SleepU
Viatom/Wellue O2Ring"

Maybe some of the Wellue users can give you the details of how to do it.

Re: Pulse Oximeter Recommendations
Hey klm49,
Thanks, I was looking in the wrong place to get the data into OSCAR. I have OSCAR on a different computer than what I use for daily Wellue ring downloads, but I copied the O2 Insight data files to a USB drive and got them imported to OSCAR and was able to look at them. Pretty slick!!! Thank you!!!

Re: Pulse Oximeter Recommendations
I have the Wellue too. The read outs convinced my PCP to order a home sleep study which revealed moderate apnea.Starlette wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 12:15 pmWebsite: https://www.sleepdeeper.net/best-pulse- ... eep-apnea/

In addition to OSCAR, you can also use Wellue's app ViHealth. I posted some screenshots from ViHealth in the thread here:

Good luck!
