Who decides who are the troublemakers ? I know who I would vote off the island. It wouldn't be the experts.

Edited: wait a second. How come the full poll didn't show till after I voted? It didn't give me names !

Did you guys miss the subject matter at the top of the poll choices????
LSAT was real specific as to who he thinks the troublemakers are.

I think maybe that you just didn't notice it. It's there for all the world to see even if a person isn't a member here and can't vote. I just logged out to see if it shows up.....it does.

Are you in the app or on a computer? I'm at a desktop, and it said the names right below the subject line. It also let me see the results before I voted.

I had to think about it for awhile. I don't really like banning people, and they will probably just come back as new accounts. But they really are disrupting the forum far more than snarky comments from long time participants.

To the new people. Yes, we get snarky sometimes. We try to help as much as we can, but it does get tiring when people come in and complain about the setup of the forum (no categories, low moderation,etc). Or they fail to read to read the sticky post and/or refuse to answer the questions we need to help (we aren't psychic). Or they come in with a whiny attitude about hating cpap and don't actually want help, but waste our time.

We understand that new people are new, often grumpy and/or upset about the diagnosis. But keep in mind, we see the same issues come up over and over again. It is hard to keep the responses new and positive all the time, especially if the new person is being difficult. It is also easy to misunderstand the attitude/intent behind the text on the screen. We can misunderstand you, and you can misunderstand us.

I find it difficult to vote for limiting the free speech of those who call for limitations to free speech.

And I find it difficult to call for bullying those attempting to bully those they consider bullies.

So I guess my only choice is kick myself out of this thread before I accidentally foe myself somehow or something.

Oh it is difficult alright , but not that difficult. :P
Abusing a privilege is the problem. The Goodman Rule (they have the final say). Yelling fire in a theater over and over is not a right

You all already know how I feel.
Aren't the helicopters the same person?
Maybe with a dissociative mental disorder?
Make cpaptalk great again.
Build a wall.

You know I didn't see the names either. Probably did not register.
I saw the poll,knew what it meant, logged in and voted.
I would have sworn there were no names there when I first looked though.
If you decide to take it to court I will testify for you. :D :D

*I* knooooow, rigghhht?

...by letting knucklehead's have free speech hopefully anyone at all on the fence about the subject should be mortified that being pro-moderation or against freedom is so obviously a means to becoming an annoying fool like these guys.

... there is value in "scarecrows"

~~~ and freedom is worth sacrifice.
AND maybe they will wake up? They keep hanging around like someone begging to be saved?
*I*'m going to pray for them!
