My S9 APAP machine is giving me trouble.
When I put the3 data card in it says it is reading the card and never finishes.
In order to get it to work I have to remove the card and then it will blow air for me.
I have tried a 2nd card with no luck.
It is 9 years old.
Is there a way to perhaps reset the machine or something that I might save it and not have to buy a new one out of pocket?

Re: Resmed S9 APAP dying?
I would get a can of electrical terminal cleaner, unplug the machine, spray the electrical contacts in the card slot, blow it out good with canned air, let it dry for several hours, and try again. If that fails, maybe it is time to look for a different machine.

Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional.

blow it out first, cruft tends to accumulate in SD card slots.Okie bipap wrote: ↑Thu Feb 28, 2019 11:14 amI would get a can of electrical terminal cleaner, unplug the machine, spray the electrical contacts in the card slot, blow it out good with canned air, let it dry for several hours, and try again. Re: Resmed S9 APAP dying?
I usually use a pencil eraser on electrical contacts, provides just enough abrasion to clean them, without any damage.zonker wrote: ↑Thu Feb 28, 2019 5:27 pmperhaps a dry eraser used on the contacts of the sd card?Okie bipap wrote: ↑Thu Feb 28, 2019 11:14 amI would get a can of electrical terminal cleaner, unplug the machine, spray the electrical contacts in the card slot, blow it out good with canned air, let it dry for several hours, and try again.
