Something to block leaks hitting my eyes?

Post by Controlshift » Fri May 25, 2018 6:05 am

Leaks from my Amara into my eyes is making my eyes tired in the morning.
Eye masks don't block the gap between the nose and the cheek.
I cant adjust the straps anymore.
I've an exam next week so don't have time to order something.
Any DIY fixes out there?

I had that issue with the Amara View and moved to a different mask. Even trying a different size did not help. I really like my P10 pillows though.

I know that is not the answer you were looking for. Sorry.

People on the dry eye forum lay "Press n Seal" across their eyes to keep the humidity in - I've tried it and it works well to block the air.

 There was another thread here with someone using that around their mouth too ... Guess you could take it to the next level, stick on your mask and wrap your whole head up in it... 100% leak free... shakes head*

Controlshift - I use Amara View. I get air going to my eyes mostly before I fall asleep. I'm not waking up with dry eyes so I guess it's not leaking during the night. I wonder if your mask is too big? I believe they are available in sizes S, M, L

My problem is air leaking around the sides of my mouth. It seems that it wakes me up every night, VERY annoying. Do you have that issue also?

With that beak, he would need to wrap his whole head.

Jokes are not as funny when explained though.

The plague doctor's mask/cloak--sort of a very early, horribly ineffective hazmat suit.
False sense of security, IMO.
I read that most of them died of the plague.
Sorry, folks, I was out for a while . . .

How do I find the dry eye forum?
Do you cut two circles off and press it on your eyes? Would it not fall off during the night?

In addition to everything else, try tightening the lower straps and/or loosening the upper ones. It may be counter-intuitive, but try it.

Important: Do not block the exhaust ports!

Maybe try these:

I find them lovely and soft and they give me a good seal around my eyes.

Nope, just went shopping--croissants, buns, ham, baby swiss slices. Picnic time.
