Soolantra 1% Topical Cream

Post by theoldman22 » Sun May 13, 2018 4:13 pm

I am a mouth breather—also can’t swallow large pills (throat damaged)—and no, I do not tighten mask straps too much.
FFM’s not kind to my face.

In the past a FFM has caused open lesions on my cheeks (my fault for not stopping sooner). Finally got from the dermatologist something new to try—Soolantra 1% Topical cream. I believe that the topical form is used to treat rosacea. Be that as it may, it has been helpful to me (have had trouble with rosacea in the past but diet change eliminated symptoms).

When used sparingly at night, I can tape right over the cream—and the tape sticks. In the morning I can remove the tape without damage to my skin-- (my facial skin makes tissue paper look like sheetrock).

Soolantra requires a prescription and only a medical doctor can give you medical advice about it.
